About

When I was young, I couldn’t wait for the Sunday paper to arrive. I would spend hours copying the comics. Soon I started sketching different parts from each one and making up new characters. Imagine… Charlie Brown’s head on Dagwood’s body, or better yet Lucy’s head on Blondie!

From there I would start making up my own original characters. No blank piece of paper was safe in my parents house as I made my creations come alive every chance I could. I eagerly took all the art classes available during my early school years and attended a Vocational Tech school in 11th and 12th grade, where I got exposed and trained in graphic art and design.

This opened my eyes to a whole new world of creativity! After graduation from high school, I went to work in the “real world” while constantly being encouraged by friends and family to attend art school. I eventually enrolled in the Art institute of Pittsburgh.

Two years later, portfolio in hand, I began knocking on doors, hoping to break into the exciting world of advertising. I managed to get my foot in the door at a sales promotion agency, having done some freelance work for them previously. After a few years, I moved on to a local Pittsburgh design firm, working as a Graphic Designer/Art Director until 2020.

Now, I’m totally on my own and able to let my creativity flourish to meet clients’ challenges and needs in all areas of digital and print media.
